CJ Wilson hurting his free agent value?

In game one of the World Series, CJ Wilson pitched reasonably well giving up 3 runs in 5 2/3 innings pitched. No question the Rangers were kept in the game and had a chance to win while losing game one 3-2 to the Cardinals. The loss though, was Wilson's third of the postseason and he became the first pitcher since Al Leiter in 2000 to lose a World Series game and be the losing pitcher in the All Star game in the same season. He will be on the mound for an expected game five which will be in Texas. (Few predict the Cardinals will sweep the series.) Essentially he will have one more start to showcase his talents for those interested in his serivces as a free agent. Lets not make a mistake, Wilson pitched incredible this season winning 16 games and being the ace of this Texas staff. But he did struggle down the stretch (Texas needed an Atlanta or Boston esk collapse to lose the division this season so maybe that didn't matter.) and had three terrible postseason starts (losing two) prior to opening the World Series against the Cardinals. 
What makes it seems the Rangers will not bring him back is the thought that he is going to look to get paid as an ace. Remember he was a reliever until the beginning of last season. (Like Ogando coming into this year and possibly Feliz going into next season.) Add in the fact that he is the best available pitcher on the free agent market which adds the likes of the Red Sox and Yankees to the list of teams that should be interested. He is getting a nice contract after the World Series from somebody. The question is: Has his postseason performance cost him even more money and years?
