I will start out with the Nationals, who were given an over-under of 84.5. I had them at 78 wins and under while they won 98 games finishing over. I was also down on the Braves this season as their number was 87. I thought this team, rather than the Red Sox, would have a bigger hangover due to last the collapse of last September. I had the results reversed, though I did have them winning 81 games. However, that was the under as their 94 wins have them the with the over.
The Phillies were the biggest 2012 surprise, but for all the wrong reasons. Vegas for their number at 93, second only to the Yankees 93 1/2. I reluctantly went with the over at 94 while they finished which is 81 wins. The Mets over under was 73.5. The Mets finished tied, For being the closest to Vegas over under. The Mets finished with 74 wins, just a half a game above their 73.5. I predicted 76 wins, which was also the over.
The most difficult team to predict in the division was the Miami Marlins. Their number of 84.5 was very tricky, As a reasonably could have finished either much higher or much lower. I went with 86 and the over, what they finished much off that with 69 and the under.
That was by far my worst performance and picking the division over unders. The 1-4 record puts me at 7-12 with two divisions to go.
